The 10 U.S. radio stations of the Spanish Broadcasting System have added the AP Spanish Online news feed to their websites, The Associated Press announced today.
The agreement between SBS and AP will give the websites an unparalleled mix of national and international news and photos that will draw from AP's robust coverage across the United States and Latin America, where the global news agency has 25 bureaus and is the premier independent news service.
“SBS is proud to partner with AP News," said Andrew Polsky, vice president for digital sales, Spanish Broadcasting System. "Our partnership brings the most trusted news source to our U.S. Hispanic online audience in Spanish. The multiple content verticals, like News, Sports, Entertainment, etc. are great additions to our network of sites where most radio stations don't offer.”
“AP is thrilled to have the opportunity to provide SBS with the industry's leading news and information content,” said P.J. McCarthy, director of AP Radio Markets Sales. "AP delivers trusted and timely content for the nation's top radio stations, both on-air and online. The addition of AP content to the SBS radio sites will serve the Hispanic community, providing news, entertainment, sports and business content. AP content will also offer SBS’ online advertising clients a more diverse content set, providing them the opportunity reach more targeted online viewers.”
The 10 SBS stations taking AP Spanish Online are WSKQ-FM and WPAT-FM, New York; KLAX-FM and KXOL-FM, Los Angeles; WLEY-FM, Chicago; KRZZ-FM, San Francisco; and WRMA-FM, WXDJ-FM, WCMQ-FM and WRAZ-FM, Miami.
