TECHNOLOGY INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Our cutting-edge technology platform enables the gathering, production and distribution of news from the protest-filled streets of Syria to the glamour of the red carpet at the Oscars. For the last three years, we’ve earned top honors on the InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the nation’s most innovative users of technology.
AP’s 12-week, paid Technology Associate Internship Program offers students the opportunity to work in a team environment contributing to real-world projects while gaining valuable, hands-on experience. The deadline for the 2013 internship is Friday, May 3.
Am I eligible?
The internships are open to technology-focused, full-time graduate or undergraduate students from a college or university in the U.S. with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Previous experience in a technical environment is required. All applicants must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrate effective analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential. Applicants must be able to meet tight deadlines with strong attention to detail. Technical skill experience and requirements vary by individual opportunity.
When does the program start?
The 12-week, paid internship starts in early June.

- A cover letter stating why the opportunity at AP would be beneficial to your studies and describing the qualities and accomplishments you would bring to AP
Candidates selected for an interview must provide:
- A current transcript indicating a GPA of 3.0 or greater
- A letter of recommendation from a professor
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
