We’ve won 59 Pulitzer Prizes, including 36 for photography, since the award was established in 1917. In 2024, AP won the Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography for its compelling, multi-country photojournalism showing migration from Central America to the United States.

Sometimes one image tells the whole story. Our photojournalists often capture moments that are so compelling that they become iconic.
