Mostly news TV station in Vegas chooses AP ENPS

KSNV-TV, the Las Vegas-based flagship of Intermountain West Communications Company, has picked AP ENPS as the station’s new multiplatform news production system as it prepares to replace most of its syndicated programming with local news.

News staffers at the NBC affiliate will improve their news production workflow with the new AP ENPS, which includes Storyboards, personal Dashboards, two-way social media audience engagement and a newly improved ENPS Mobile for smartphones, tablets and laptops.

“The KSNV News 3 team is very excited to begin utilizing the ENPS system,” said station Vice President and General Manager Lisa Howfield.  “We had representatives from nearly every department review ENPS. The flexibility to expand with the needs of a growing news operation, combined with its advanced technology and multiplatform features, easily convinced us that ENPS is the perfect fit for KSNV News 3.”

“We are proud to have KSNV-TV join the AP ENPS family,” said Lee Perryman, director of AP ENPS. “The station will step immediately into the future with advanced news creation tools that give the staff a competitive advantage in Las Vegas on all media platforms.”

AP ENPS produces more than half of the world’s broadcast news every day, used by over 60,000 journalists.
